Targeting cholinergic neurons, neurogenesis and amyloid-beta in animal models of Alzheimer's disease.  

Learning objectives:

(1) Review some of the challenges with current treatments for Alzheimer's disease

(2) Gain knowledge on possible new therapeutic approaches related to cholinergic neurons and adult neurogenesis

(3) Consider the potential of MRI-guided focused ultrasound for the delivery of therapeutics to the brain
